gained a basic awareness and understanding of the many factors that are involved in preventing our bodies from succumbing to infectious organisms
developed an understanding of the development of the immune system and how it protects us from infections
learned to describe the nature of immune responses
become aware of the importance of the immune system
looked at some pathological aspects of the immune system
gained knowledge and understanding of the nature of non-specific and specific immunity (also unknown as innate and acquired immunity respectively)
come to understand the process of cell-mediated immunity through T-cell lymphocytes, and how viral particles replicate within our cells
gained knowledge of humoral immunity and the development of B-cell lymphocytes, plasma cells and immunoglobulins.
