Members Forum

During the INGID meeting in Budapest there were several discussions about the possibility of having a members' interactive page on the INGID web site.

The INGID Board is happy to say that we have achieved this, but have widened it out to included Special Interest Group (SIG) pages. These, at the moment, are based on the Roundtable Discussions that took place during the Budapest Meeting, although, if there is a call for other SIGs, these can be accommodated. In addition, there is a main INGID interactive forum so that you can communicate easily with the Board, and other members.

This is an exciting development, allowing you the members to be even more active in INGID. However, we are dependent upon you taking part in this venture. If you have any questions about INGID, or about the care that you are giving, or queries over drugs, etc., then post your question on the appropriate forum, and also if you can answer any queries, please do so. This is your website, please use it and allow INGID to become a dynamic organisation that works for and with you throughout the year, not just every 2 years at the INGID meeting.

We are aware that not everyone is comfortable writing in English, but do not let that put you off taking part in these discussions. If you really are concerned about whether your English will be understood, then you can always email what you want to write to Peter Vickers at  p.s.vickers@herts.ac.uk and he will help.

The different SIG pages are:

These pages can only be accessed by paid-up members of INGID, and to access them you will need the current password that will be emailed to all members of INGID.

To start off the SIG sites, we are including the notes that were taken from the Roundtable Discussions. These are only in note form - it is now up to you to expand them and take them further.

If you attended any of these Roundtables then this page is important to you - you can now continue your discussion. It is particularly important that you clarify and expand these notes for those who were at another Roundtable, or who could not be in Budapest.
