Further comments

  • Very provoking lectures learnt a lot, very meaningful.
  • Have the networking lunch earlier in the program, so we can know each other better.
  • I found that the table top exercise very informative.
  • It would be helpful to have handouts/ not enough handouts.
  • A positive thing was being able to meet other nurses.
  • Too much about IgG and too short about Gene therapy.
  • Networking is important to get to know and other members
  • Safety of nurse specialist role in the UK.
  • Time too short in roundtables, should have smaller groups and divide into those looking after children and those looking after adult patients.
  • Difficulty when 2 sessions from INGID and ESID are at the same time.
  • Better than ESID
  • A list of attending members of INGID would have been helpful.
  • Could we have free water and coffee - didn’t like the ticket system
  • Better lunch boxes or a buffet
  • The speaker and chair should attempt to keep the time

4. What topics would you like to have on the program for the next INGID meeting?

  • More on health related quality of life.
  • SCIg experience with children.
  • IPOPI members to speak about their experience as a patient.
  • Problems with psychosocial development during isolation and problems with food.
  • Care around bone marrow transplants and Graft versus Host Reaction.
  • Relations with families.
  • Gene therapy.
  • New types of treatments.
  • Projects and nursing research.

  • Different work in different countries – presentations from other countries.
  • A forum to meet nurses from different countries - introduction of everybody to see which countries are represented.
