About INGID
The INGID Meetings
INGID meets as a group every two years in partnership
with the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID)
and the International Patient Organisation of Primary Immunodeficiencies
(IPOPI). The meeting extends over three to four days in
a different location each year.
The next meeting of INGID
will be the VIII meeting and will take place in October,
2008, in 's- Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands). Previous meetings
have taken place in:
- I Meeting - Sitges, Spain, 1994
(where INGID was formally founded)
- II Meeting
- Gothenburg, Sweden, 1996
- III Meeting - Rhodes,
Greece, 1998
- IV Meeting - Geneva, Switzerland,
2000
- V Meeting - Weimar, Germany, 2002
- VI
Meeting - Versailles, France, 2004
- VII Meeting - Budapest, Hungary, 20 October 2006
These biannual meetings
are open to all nurses, even those who are not members
of INGID. These meetings are an opportunity for nurses
who care for patients and families coping with primary
immunodeficiencies to interact and share information amongst
themselves. As well as an opportunity for interaction and
sharing of information, the meetings include oral/postal
presentations of nursing abstracts that are focused on
the care of patients and their families. There are also
opportunities for joint sessions with ESID and IPOPI.
INGID
is a growing and evolving organisation that benefits from
interaction and shared information amongst nurses.
